Adam Henson is a husband, Father, retired decorated combat veteran, and retired law enforcement officer. He completed multi-national deployments and numerous missions between 1986 -2012.

Henson enlisted into the United States Marines Corps in 1986, with a first deployment with Marine Air Logistics Squadron - MALS 12 / HAMS 12 1st Marine Aircraft Wing Iwakuni, Japan, later returning to Marine Attack Squadron HMA 775, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Camp Pendleton, CA, and later deployed in 1990 to Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

Henson re-enlisted in 1992, received orders to MALS-13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, Yuma AZ, deploying in 1994 in support to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron VMA 214 The Black Sheep Squadron to Iwakuni, Japan.

Upon his return stateside, Henson attended Arizona Western College Law Enforcement Academy in addition to his Marine Corps duties. After completing 16 hours a month for a year training in a Yuma County Sheriff deputy’s patrol car concurrent with night and weekend classes, Henson joined his brother in becoming a third-generation law enforcement officer.

In December 1995 Henson went on terminal leave and transferred to the Marine Corps reserves in February 1996. There began employment in civilian law enforcement for different Arizona jurisdictions to gain vital experience, while also transferring into the Arizona Army National Guard 1498th Transportation Company. The National Guard is a reserve component of the United States Army.

In 1997, he transferred into the California National Guard with C Company 578th Engineer Battalion as a team leader, while still a full-time police officer with the Somerton Police Department in Arizona. In 1999 Henson served on a deployment to Hohenfels, Germany with the 578th Engineer Battalion.

In 2001, Henson accepted Title 32 orders into the California Counter Drug Task Force in the Military Police Section as the NCOIC. Henson was deployed to LAX for Operation AEROSAFE as a Counter Drug Task Force member immediately following 9/11. Following soon thereafter, in 2002 Henson was transferred to A Company 578th Engineer Battalion as a Squad Leader, where once again, he was soon promoted to Staff Sergeant.

In 2004, he was transferred to A Company 579th Engineer Battalion for an 18-month deployment with the 81st Brigade Combat Team (BCT) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Following this deployment, he transferred back into A Company 578th Engineer Battalion as Platoon Sergeant, and returning to full time duties in the California Counter Drug Task Force.

In 2005, Henson continued to receive promotions, advancing to acting First Sergeant assigned to B Company 578th Engineer Battalion, then promoted in 2008 to Master Sergeant and moved into the Battalion Headquarters as the NCOIC of the S-2 section. Later in 2008 Henson assumed command of 315th Vertical construction company of the 578th Engineer Battalion. In 2009 assigned to the 224th Sustainment Brigade as the Electronic Warfare/S-2 NCOIC for another deployment to Iraq.

Upon return, he transferred back into the 578th Engineer Battalion, advancing to acting Command Sergeant Major, and resumed his duties as with the Joint Task Force Domestic Support-Counterdrug Program.

In 2012, after nearly 26 years, multiple engagements with enemy forces, sustaining injuries and loss of his fellow unit members in three separate IED attacks, earning a page long list of both State and Federal awards, medals, meritorious citations and decorations including a Bronze Star, and a Purple Heart, Henson retired from the active military service.

Henson remained loyal to his military family by accepting a Federal Police Officer position with the Marine Corps Police Department and attended their police academy, while there he served in multiple positions including Patrol Supervisor, Watch Commander and Accident Investigator. In 2015, Henson transferred from the USMC PD to the US Navy PD at the Fallbrook Naval Weapons Station and attended the US Federal Police Academy and was promoted to the position of Lieutenant.

However, Adam, along with his wife Nancy became ever more alarmed at the accelerated deterioration of California under Democrat leadership, along with an over whelming influx of taxpayer supported non-citizens, and finally joined other blue state refugees fleeing to Montana upon retirement of Federal service.
